CPR Anytime

The Start! movement encourages Americans to take up walking as part of their daily routine all year around. Track Your Physical Activity and Diet with MyStart! Online.  The Start! Heart Attack
Patients can learn warning signs, risk factors, prevention and life after a heart attack. Mended Hearts

Mended Hearts is a nonprofit patient support organization affiliated with the AHA.  It offers services to patients and families via visiting programs, support group meetings, HEARTBEAT magazine, and educational forums. Partnering with 450 hospitals and rehabilitation facilities, Mended Hearts volunteers make 231,000 hospital visits annually to patients, family members, and caregivers. The Heart of Diabetes

A free program that helps you learn the connection between cardiovascular disease, diabetes and insulin.  Diabetes dramatically increases a person's risk for heart disease and stroke and often is associated with other cardiovascular risk factors, such as high blood pressure, cholesterol disorders, obesity and insulin resistance. Unfortunately, most people with diabetes are not aware of these prevalent health risks. The Heart Of Diabetes program was created to not only raise awareness of this issue, but help those with diabetes take action to lower their risk for heart disease and stroke resistance.

Children and Heart Disease
